This powerful mural explores a journey from darkness into light, reflecting the passage from past to present and the promise of a radiant future. At its center stands a young girl—an emblem of hope, possibility, and the generation poised to carry the torch forward. Surrounding her are figures representing those from the past whose dreams were left unrealized, yet whose strength, guidance, and enduring spirit remain ever-present.

The work echoes the role of LSAF itself: a rising force illuminating new pathways for public art, nurturing creativity, and shaping the cultural landscape for generations to come. By weaving together themes of legacy, resilience, and collective progress, the piece embodies the essence of the Lagos spirit—bold, unbreakable, and forever moving toward the light.
