As part of a groundbreaking initiative, Inscribe Art and the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture are proud to announce the inaugural Lagos Street Art Festival, slated to take place in 2025. This unprecedented event will bring together artists, enthusiasts, and the public to celebrate the dynamic intersection of public art, urban beautification, and artistic expression.

We’re breathing life into the spaces within Lagos city. As part of the city ages, the infusion of art revitalizes these areas, providing a visual face-lift and instilling a sense of pride among Lagos residents. This revitalization not only enhances aesthetics but also elevates the overall energy of the city, creating a culturally rich urban landscape that resonates with its residents.

The maiden edition of the Lagos Street Art Festival promises an immersive experience transcending conventional art festivals. A five-day experiential festival will merge street art with pop culture, showcasing the talents of local and international artists through large-scale murals, installations, and interactive exhibits, transforming the city into an open-air art gallery.

In line with our commitment to capacity building and empowerment, we will be collaborating with talented local artists on this project, while also providing an opportunity for them to learn. Renowned artists and industry experts will conduct masterclasses, providing aspiring talents with invaluable insights and skills to further elevate their craft. Embracing the diverse facets of urban culture, the festival will feature elements of street art culture – music performances, skating ramps, street wear, street art culture, street food, exhibitions, and more, creating an immersive experience for attendees.
